घृष्णेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग में दर्शन का समय:

    • मंदिर सुबह 5:30 बजे से रात 9:30 बजे तक खुला रहता है।
    • सोमवार और महाशिवरात्रि जैसे विशेष अवसरों पर भीड़ अधिक होती है।

घृष्णेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग में विशेष आरती:

    • सुबह और शाम को मंदिर में विशेष आरती होती है, जो भक्तों के लिए बहुत शुभ मानी जाती है।

घृष्णेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग में ड्रेस कोड:

    • पुरुषों को धोती या पंचा पहनना चाहिए। शर्ट या बनियान पहने हुए पुरुषों को मंदिर में प्रवेश की अनुमति नहीं है।

मंदिर का महत्व और इतिहास

घृष्णेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग मंदिर का उल्लेख पुराणों में मिलता है। यह मंदिर घृष्णा देवी और उनके पति सुदर्शन की कथा से जुड़ा है। कहा जाता है कि घृष्णा देवी भगवान शिव की अनन्य भक्त थीं। उन्होंने अपने भक्ति और तपस्या से भगवान शिव को प्रसन्न किया। तभी से इस स्थल को घृष्णेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग के रूप में पूजा जाता है।

मंदिर की वास्तुकला:

  • मंदिर का निर्माण लाल बलुआ पत्थरों से किया गया है।
  • मंदिर का शिखर 5-स्तरीय है और इसमें जटिल नक्काशी की गई है।
  • यहाँ के गर्भगृह में भगवान शिव का स्वयंभू शिवलिंग प्रतिष्ठित है।
  • गर्भगृह के प्रवेश द्वार पर हिन्दू पौराणिक कथाओं के देवी-देवताओं की मूर्तियां खुदी हुई हैं।

इतिहास:

घृष्णेश्वर मंदिर का निर्माण 13वीं शताब्दी में हुआ और इसे मराठा साम्राज्य की रानी अहिल्याबाई होल्कर ने पुनः बनवाया। उनके द्वारा ही कई ज्योतिर्लिंगों के पुनर्निर्माण का कार्य हुआ था।

घृष्णेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग मंदिर की पौराणिक कथा 

पुराणों में इसकी कथा इस प्रकार है – दक्षिण प्रदेश में देवगिरि पर्वत के पास सुधर्मा नामक ब्राह्मण अपनी पत्नी सुदेहा के साथ निवास करता था। वह भगवान शिव के विशेष भक्त थे और प्रतिदिन शिव भगवान की पूजा-अर्चना करते थे। दोनों पति-पत्नी खुशियों से अपने जीवन का आनंदित निकासा कर रहे थे, लेकिन एक दुखद बात थी कि उनके यहां कोई संतान नहीं थी।

दोनों ने संतान प्राप्ति के लिये कई जतन किए , मगर सब व्यर्थ रहे। अंत में ज्योतिष गणना से ब्राह्मण ने जाना कि उनकी पत्नी के गर्भ से संतान उत्पति नहीं हो सकती। जब यह बात उसकी पत्नी सुदेहा को पता चली, तो उसने ब्राम्हण को विवश करके उसकी दूसरी शादी अपनी छोटी बहन से करवा दी। उसका नाम घुष्मा था और वह भी बड़ी सदाचरणी थी।

घुष्मा प्रतिदिन 101 पार्थिव शिवलिंग बनाकर उनकी पूजा करतीं और उन्हें विधिपूर्वक एक कुंड में विसर्जित कर देतीं। शिव भक्ति के फलस्वरूप घुष्मा को एक पुत्र की प्राप्ति हुई।

लेकिन यह देखकर सुदेहा को अपनी बहन से ईर्ष्या होने लगी। ईर्ष्या के वशीभूत होकर उसने घुष्मा के पुत्र की हत्या कर दी और शव को उसी कुंड में फेंक दिया।

शिव कृपा से पुनर्जीवित हुआ पुत्र

जब घुष्मा को इस घटना का पता चला, तो उन्होंने दुखी होने के बजाय भगवान शिव की पूजा जारी रखी। उनकी अटूट भक्ति से प्रसन्न होकर महादेव ने उनके पुत्र को पुनर्जीवित कर दिया।

घुष्मा की श्रद्धा और भक्ति से प्रभावित होकर भगवान शिव ने उसी स्थान पर स्थायी रूप से निवास करने का वरदान दिया। उन्होंने कहा, “मैं यहां तुम्हारे नाम से घृष्णेश्वर कहलाऊंगा और सदैव भक्तों की मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण करूंगा।”

घुष्मा द्वारा की गई 101 पार्थिव शिवलिंग पूजा के स्मरण में, इस ज्योतिर्लिंग की परिक्रमा 108 बार नहीं, बल्कि 101 बार की जाती है। घृष्णेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग आज भी भक्तों के लिए आस्था और चमत्कार का केंद्र है।

दौलताबाद किला:

मध्यकालीन भारत का यह किला घृष्णेश्वर मंदिर से 20 किमी दूर है। इसका ऐतिहासिक महत्व और वास्तुशिल्पीय भव्यता इसे दर्शनीय बनाती है।
