My Thrillophilia Review For Thailand Tour

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

This year my cousins and I decided to go on our first international trip to Thailand! Living in a joint family we all grew up like siblings but soon each of us went away for studies and jobs. This trip was a huge deal for us so we decided to book the trip from a travel company so we could enjoy it comfortably. My brother had gone for a Sikkim trek with Thrillophilia last year so he had been encouraging us to book this trip from them as well.

The booking process was simply simple!

Since I was in charge of bookings I decided to check out Thrillophilia’s Thailand trip reviews on Google and other sites. And my God those reviews and the trip photos were tempting! Fast forward, went on their site and left my info in the dropbox. Later I got a call from them asking about the details as to what all we were looking for, our favorite islands, number of days and especially the activities we wanted to do.

After a lot of discussions and 1000 group texts, we decided on- Exotic Thailand 7-day trip. So we were 5 people in total but my brother was having an issue with his passport and it was just not cleared until the last week of the trip but the tour agent was quite helpful and kept us posted right till we boarded our flight from Jaipur.

And the trip began!

We landed in Bangkok, and it was then that we felt that yes! It’s finally happening. Bangkok was so fun! It welcomed us with fancy streets and tasty food stalls. Our first day was all about enjoying the charm. We visited the Grand Palace and Wat Arun and then took a nice boat ride along the Chao Phraya River. In the evening, we had some delicious street food at Yaowarat, Bangkok’s Chinatown. And hats off to the company we got the most beautiful stay.

It was a boutique hotel right in the heart of Bangkok. The stay had spacious rooms, and they had Thai silk and teak wood furnishings. The best was the rooftop infinity pool as we could see the whole city skyline from there. At night we just chilled around the pool and gossiped our hearts out. On the third day, we took a short flight to Phuket. I’s popular for its stunning beaches and fun nightlife.

While landing I just looked out of the window as gosh the water was so beautiful and deep blue and the island was so green just like the pictures I had seen in some of the Thailand tour reviews. We spent a day sunbathing on the fine sands of Patong Beach, sipping on fresh coconut water.

We had booked a banana boat ride which was soo fun! The waves were high that day so my sister kept falling off in the water and she was the only one who did not know how to swim! So that was a blast. We also did snorkeling and jet skiing.

So the highlight of our trip was the sunset yacht cruise around the Phang Nga Bay island. The cruise was soo royal, they welcomed us with orchid garlands and a Piña colada inside a pineapple! There were traditional dances and a delicious seafood buffet.

Since our cousin is Vegan our agent made sure that the cruise made arrangements accordingly, and they did! We watched the beautiful sunset while sipping on champagne. The sky had all the colours and it was so beautiful that it will always be stuck in my memories. After dinner, we danced along with the performers and other cruise members!

Phi Phi Islands

The next day, we went for a day trip to the Phi Phi Islands. It was just breathtaking and the water was so crystal-clear. We explored Maya Bay and swam in the green lagoons that were surrounded by huge limestone cliffs. As our trip came to an end, we returned to Bangkok for our final day. We enjoyed our last moments in Thailand by shopping for souvenirs at Chatuchak Weekend Market.

Now while writing my review of the Thailand tour with Thrillophilia, all the memories just kept flashing. I think we will be going on more such trips with Thrillophilia as they made our trip more easy, and more fun.
